Honrar o sacerdote \u00e9 honrar o pr\u00f3prio Cristo; desprez\u00e1-lo \u00e9 ferir o Senhor.<br><br>\n\nO fim da voca\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 um s\u00f3: <span class=\"destaque-vinho\"><strong>viver exclusivamente para as coisas de Deus<\/strong><\/span>. O sacerdote \u00e9 escolhido entre os homens \u201cpara administrar em favor dos homens o que se refere a Deus\u201d (Hb 5,1). Ele \u00e9 <strong>consagrado<\/strong>, ou seja, separado, apartado do mundo. Deve ser <span class=\"destaque-vinho\">holocausto cont\u00ednuo<\/span>, totalmente oferecido, consumido no altar junto com o sacrif\u00edcio que apresenta. Seu minist\u00e9rio \u00e9 louvar a Deus, santificar as almas e ser, no meio dos homens, como um <strong>anjo vis\u00edvel<\/strong> que ilumina, guia e purifica.<br><br>\n\nAssim, segundo a f\u00f3rmula de <strong>Santo Afonso<\/strong>, o sacerdote \u00e9 ao mesmo tempo <span class=\"destaque-vinho\">mediador e sacrif\u00edcio<\/span>, gl\u00f3ria de Deus e esperan\u00e7a dos pecadores. Sua voca\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 alta como o C\u00e9u, mas seu perigo \u00e9 profundo como o inferno; e somente na <span class=\"destaque-vinho\"><strong>santidade cont\u00ednua<\/strong><\/span> encontrar\u00e1 fidelidade ao chamado que recebeu.\n\n<br><br>\n<p>\n\u201cOs seminaristas amar\u00e3o meditar frequentemente sobre as consequ\u00eancias de seu <span class=\"destaque-vinho\"><strong>sacerd\u00f3cio<\/strong><\/span>, que os assimila a <strong>Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo<\/strong>, sacerdote para sempre; isto \u00e9, est\u00e3o destinados desde j\u00e1 a estar <span class=\"destaque-vinho\">separados de cora\u00e7\u00e3o do mundo<\/span>. Por isso, a t\u00edtulo especial, devem estar <strong>desapegados dos bens deste mundo<\/strong> e afastados da <strong>concupisc\u00eancia da carne<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nSeu exemplo e testemunho dessas duas virtudes \u2014 <span class=\"destaque-vinho\"><strong>castidade<\/strong><\/span> e <span class=\"destaque-vinho\"><strong>pobreza<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 constituem a prega\u00e7\u00e3o mais eficaz e mais compreens\u00edvel para todos os homens, especialmente para os simples. A ocasi\u00e3o da cria\u00e7\u00e3o do semin\u00e1rio foi o enfraquecimento doutrinal e as concess\u00f5es \u201cem etapas\u201d da Fraternidade S\u00e3o Pio X, em busca de um acordo com a Roma \u201cde tend\u00eancia neomodernista e neoprotestante\u201d (Declara\u00e7\u00e3o de 21 de novembro de 1974).
